The 7th International Mining and Quarrying Exhibition will take place from 2 to 4th of May 2023 in Casablanca, Morocco. It is organised by the magazine “Energie/Mines and Quarries”, under the aegis of the Moroccan Ministry of Transition and Sustainable Development.
The topic of this edition will be “Strategic and critical minerals; economic and geopolitical challenges for Africa”. There will be participation of several African ministers and ministerial delegations, including Benin, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Senegal.

According to the online site Accueil – La Releve “This exhibition, professional and scientific par excellence, unique in its kind in North Africa, focuses this year on many themes including mining resources as sources of development of regions and territories, the African vision, the digital 4.0 intelligent mine, the role of training, the recovery and recycling of tailings and mining waste, and the use of digitization and instrumentation in geotechnical work. »
The partnership aspect is also taken into account through the setting up of B2B meetings and bilateral meetings between Moroccan delegations and officials on the one hand, and Moroccan private companies on the other.
On the sidelines of the expo, the 4th National Sol-Morocco Congress on Construction Materials, Civil Engineering and Geotechnics will be held. The experts will present on this occasion the law n° 27-13 relating to the exploitation of quarries, implemented five years ago, in order to debate and propose amendments and thus meet the expectations of the administration, investors and quarry operators.
