Placed under the theme: “Administrative Resilience and Security Challenges”, the promotion has as its baptismal name “Patriotic Surge”. They are 638 graduates who receive their parchment after 2 years of training on administrative science. They say they are ready to serve the nation.
The General Manager of the Iamgold Essakane SA mine Tidiane Barry stressed the relevance of the theme which reflects the commitment of the graduates to play a role especially in a security context as particular. He called on the graduates to show professionalism and avoid laxity in the exercise of their duties. Tidiane Barry also stressed that “the diploma is important, but the hardest thing will be what you do with it. He also insisted on the cultivation of certain values that constitute virtues, before calling on his protégés to have at heart to be builders: “do not expect anything from users in exchange for the public service rendered, be inspired by your predecessors,” he said.
For the Director General of ENAM, Dr Jacob Yarabatioula, the ceremony commits the graduates to cultivate excellence in their work. He also promised to pay special attention to inclusive training with the consideration of students living with disabilities. To the government and technical and financial partners, he addressed grievances on the creation of a museum of the civil service and on the creation of a language centre.
During the ceremony, several winners, notably the majors of the courses, received their diplomas and other gadgets such as tablets and computers offered by the mining company IAMGOLD Essakane S.A.
