Abidjan is hosting from the 17th to the 20th of October 2022 the forum: “Joint meeting on the 30% campaign and domestic resource mobilisation and local content development”.

The forum is organised by OXFAM in West Africa in collaboration with Publish What You Pay (PWYP) and Lead Afrique Francophone. It aims to facilitate the establishment of a regional multi-stakeholder platform to address the issues and challenges of local content promotion and domestic resource mobilisation in the extractive sector in West Africa. It also aims to collect data provided by the various actors on the economic and social impact of the extractive sector on women and girls and to develop a strategic document and an advocacy booklet of the campaign of the 30% of mining revenues to projects benefiting women that integrates the realities of the various countries and addressed to local elected officials, heads of state, ECOWAS and the African Union.
