At the beginning of each year, the Bissa-Bouly mine comes to aid vulnerable people in the communes affected by its operations.
Each of the 1,000 people concerned will receive a package (5 kg) of pasta and a litre of cooking oil.
Sixty (60) affected villages in the five (5) communes hosting the mine’s gold projects are concerned by the operation which cost 6,500,000 CFA francs. These are 26 villages in the commune of Sabcé, 20 villages in the commune of Mané, 5 villages in the commune of Guibaré, 5 villages in the commune of Zitenga and 4 villages in the commune of Korsimoro.
For the beneficiaries, this annual activity is a blessing for vulnerable people whose living conditions are increasingly precarious due to the security and humanitarian crisis that the country in general and the Centre-North region, in particular, are going through. The Bissa-Bouly mine, as part of its social responsibility, remains committed to supporting vulnerable groups and internally displaced persons in the localities affected by its mining operations.
