Following his appointment as Country Public Affairs Manager for the company, #Endeavour_Mining in Burkina Faso, Souleymane Boly said: “I am proud to join the Endeavour Mining family. I look forward to working with all of you to further enhance the company’s leadership in Burkina Faso and to multiply the benefits for our stakeholders in line with our common values”.
Prior to this appointment, Souleymane Boly held senior positions. He joined IAMGOLD Essakane SA as Superintendent of Corporate Affairs in 2018, then Superintendent of Relations and Community Development. He will be promoted to Director of Corporate Affairs and Communication before being appointed Country Director of IAMGOLD in Burkina Faso in July 2022. He will be confirmed as Country Manager in October 2022, a position he held until his appointment to Endeavour.
Souleymane Boly will bring his experience in international diplomacy to his new position, having worked for a long time at the US Embassy in Burkina Faso.
