Mrs Lucie Kaboré, married name Kabré, President of the Association of Women in the Mining Sector of Burkina Faso (AFEMIB)

Mrs. Lucie Kaboré, married name Kabré, is the current president of the Association of Women in the Mining Sector (AFEMIB). A position she has held since May 2020. But before becoming president of the association, this activist for the cause of women in the mining sector was respectively a community support technician and a secretary in charge of communication.

Academically, Ms. Kabré holds a Higher Diploma of Secretarial Studies (DSS), obtained in 2008 at the Higher Institute of Computer Science and Management (ISIG) in Ouagadougou, and is enrolled in a degree course on “Gender and Social Cohesion” at the International Solidarity Unit of Geneva (USIG). She has also followed several training courses that have strengthened her skills in human rights, gender, development, good governance, etc. Professionally, Lucie Kabré has more than 25 years of experience as an executive secretary. From 1999 to 2011, she held the positions of accounting secretary, executive secretary and administrative assistant in charge of human resources management at the NGO Mwangaza Action. From 2012 to 2022, she was Administrative Assistant in charge of human resources management at Predictive Discovery.
