A mining engineer from the Moscow Institute of Mining (Russian Federation) since 1994, he also holds a Diploma of Higher Specialised Studies (DESS) in the valorisation of subsoil resources, option Exploitation, from the National School of Geology of Nancy, France in 2002 and a Diploma of Expert Engineer in Techniques, Economy and Management of the mining company, from the School of Mining of Nancy, France in 2002.
Professionally, he was the Permanent Secretary of the National Mining Commission from 2018 until his appointment on 10 March 2023. Prior to this position, he was Director of Mines at the Ministry of Mines and Quarries from 2011 to 2018, Technical Inspector at the Ministry of Mines and Quarries from 2009 to 2011, Head of Department at the Ministry of Mines and Quarries from 2002 – 2009. This specialist in the development of subsoil resources worked in the private sector as a geological technician at Santa Fe Mining Inc, (Geological and mining research on the Gongobiri prospect, Gaoua) from 1996 – 1997.
Kuilga Emmanuel Yaméogo has carried out several studies related to the mining sector at the national level and in the sub-region for the benefit of several structures. Knight of the National Order, December 2013, he was made Officer of the Order of the Stallion in December 2021.
