Leo Lithium has updated information on its Goulamina lithium mine in Mali. It has announced a significant increase in resources, making Goulamina the 4th largest spodumene deposit in the world.
Construction activities are well underway, with engineering and design approximately 80% complete. The company has acquired mining concessions to almost triple the area of the Goulamina project. The first ore from the mine has been produced and stockpiled in preparation for Phase 1. The project remains on schedule for first spodumene product in the June 2024 trimester.
It has announced that trading will cease on 18 July 2023 and will be voluntarily suspended from 20 July 2023 due to incomplete discussions with the Malian government following a letter sent to the company.
