The Chadian Minister of Mines and Geology, Abdelkerim Mahamat Abdelkerim, granted an audience to a delegation of Egyptian investors on 07 September 2023. The delegation, led by Mohamed Nasser Badr, chairman of the Egyptian-African group, discussed gold mining with the Chadian authorities in charge of mines.
The delegation led by Mohamed Nasser Badr, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian-African group, informed Abdelkerim Mahamat Abdelkerim, Chad’s Minister of Mines and Geology, that the group was interested in Chadian gold. During the discussions, Abdelkerim Mahamat Abdelkerim reassured the Egyptian-African group’s investors that Chadian soil offered a great investment opportunity. “Apart from gold, there is also zinc, uranium and marble,” he said.
Through the Chairman of its Board of Directors, Mohamed Nasser Badr, the Group is promising to work closely with the Chadian ministry’s technical staff to identify areas for investment and the training needs of Chadian engineers.
