Orezone Gold Corporation announced today, 6 November 2023, in Vancouver, Canada, that it will announce third trimester 2023 results on Tuesday, 14 November 2023, after the market closes. A conference call and audio webcast to discuss the results will be held on Wednesday, 15 November 2023.
Orezone Gold Corporation is a Canadian mining company that operates the Bomboré gold mine in Burkina Faso. Orezone is focused on mining and processing near-surface free-oxide Phase I at a planned throughput of 5.9 million tonnes per year. The company recently released the results of the Phase II expansion study, which envisages a standalone 4.4 million tonnes per annum hard rock plant operating in parallel with the existing oxide plant, to significantly increase annual gold production at a low incremental capital cost. Construction of the new 4.4 million tonnes per annum hard rock plant will enable Bomboré to produce an average of 209,000 oz per annum at a production cost of 1,121 $ per ounce for more than 08 years. First gold production from the Phase II expansion is scheduled for the third trimester of 2025. There is significant exploration potential to increase Bomboré’s mineral reserves through future resource conversion and new discoveries resulting from drilling of promising and priority targets.
