The 48-hour “HSE Days” organised by the Roxgold Sanu mining company came to an end on the evening of 25 November 2023. During a ceremony, the mine’s management rewarded its best departments and subcontractors. Six of the mine’s departments received awards.
The 48-hour “HSE Days” organised by the mining company Roxgold Sanu took place on 24 and 25 November 2023. For this second edition, 07 departments were honoured during the closing ceremony. The prizes are divided into 02 competition categories, each with 3 prizes, plus a recognition prize. Of the 02 categories in competition, the best stands prize was awarded to the 03 best stands presented by the departments during the “HSE Days“ opening ceremony. The best stand according to the jury went to the Process department (1st best stand). It was followed by the Mining department (2nd best stand) and the SIT department (3rd).
They all left with certificates of recognition and envelopes of 150,000 FCFA for the first, 100,000 FCFA for the second and 50,000 FCFA for the third. In the second prize category, the best subcontractor, best support department and best operations department were awarded. African Underground Mining Service (AUMS) was named Roxgold Sanu’s best subcontractor. The prize for best support department went to the Procurement department, while the prize for best operations department went to the Exploration department. They each received a trophy, a certificate of recognition and an envelope of 150,000 FCFA. According to the members of the jury, these departments received awards for carrying out their activities without incident. The jury was made up of members from all Roxgold Sanu’s departments.
