The Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative of Burkina Faso (EITI-BF) is holding a public conference on “Women and EITI” in Koudougou on 14 December 2023, exclusively for women from the Centre West region.
This activity is part of the dissemination of the latest EITI-BF 2021 report and complies with requirement 7.1 of the EITI 2019 standard, which ensures that women have access to relevant information published under the EITI.
After a presentation of the key figures in the EITI-BF 2021 report, the Publish What You Pay (PWYP) Burkina Faso national coalition led a panel discussion on “The results of the study to evaluate the implementation of the 2019 EITI Standard Requirements relating to the inclusion of gender in the EITI process in Burkina Faso”. The focus will be on gender data in the 2021 report.
