Senegal’s Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI) published its 2022 reconciliation report in December 2023. The report covers the first half of 2022. It reveals key production figures for each mineral mined and for hydrocarbons.
The figures for hydrocarbons were collected on the basis of declarations from the Hydrocarbons Directorate, Fortesa and the purchaser Cement Marketing Company (Société de Commercialisation du Ciment – SOCOCIM).
The figures on minerals are taken from declarations made by the General Directorate of Mines and Enterprises.
