Switzerland leads the way, with an estimated 10.54 tonnes, or 70.64% of exports. It is followed by Australia, which received 4.03 tonnes (27.01%), and Senegal, which retained 0.34 tonnes, or 2.28%. In financial terms, total exports are valued at more than 540.541 billion FCFA. Gold exports to Senegal were officially handled by Sabodala Gold Operations (SGO), the main exporter to Switzerland, and Petowal Mining Company SA (PMC), exporter to Australia.
