Endeavour Mining announced on 27 September 2023 in London the appointment of Ian Cockerill as Deputy Chairman. Prior to this appointment he was Senior Independent Director of Endeavour.

Alison Baker, currently Chairman of the Audit Committee, succeeds Ian Cockerill as Senior Independent Director.

On the same day, Cathia Lawson-Hall was appointed to Endeavour’s Board of Directors.

“As a result of these changes, Endeavour’s Board is in early compliance with the Financial Conduct Authority’s positive diversity objectives for listed companies, with 40% of the Board being women, the Lead Independent Director being a woman and half of the Board being from an ethnic minority background,” the statement said.

Endeavour Mining is a West African gold producer with operating assets in Senegal, Côte d’Ivoire and Burkina Faso and a strong portfolio of advanced development and exploration projects in West Africa’s highly prospective greenstone belt. In Burkina Faso, Endeavour operates the Houndé Gold and Semafo Mana mines.
